Royal Visit is a clean fantasy-adventure novelette about Adon Santinetta’s first assignment as the King of Margonne’s personal agent. Crown Prince Lorens plans a state visit to neighboring Satele, partly to ease Adon into his role, but events deteriorate quickly, putting the entire delegation in danger.
The story is complete, and all twelve episodes are now available to read for free. Each episode runs from 1,500 to 2,000 words, more or less. Each episode also includes an insider’s note or two from the author. (NB: Some minor editing of episodes—spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.—may occur post-publication.)

“Training Mission” - Adon Santinetta and Crown Prince Lorens plan a royal visit to Delphino, the capital of Satele.
“High Dudgeon” - Adon and Lorens begin their state visit with a trip down the White River with Trade Minister Petron Bardonnel and a prickly Princess Carena.
“Bon Voyage” - The travelers leave sunny Kingsport for Delphino, weathering a storm and receiving an ominous welcome on arrival.
“Circling Sharks” - Lorens’ party lunches with the King and Crown Princess of Satele, and the intrigue begins.
“Having a Ball” - While attending a welcoming ball, Adon reunites with his uncle, only to get an unwelcome taste of Satelen politics.
“Going Nowhere” - Lorens holds a strategy meeting over breakfast, after which the trade negotiations begin on a discordant note.
“A Spider’s Web” - Prince Lorens shuts Lord Marinacci down, and Adon comforts an emotionally shattered Princess Grania.
“Dinner and a Show” - Adon, Lorens, and Petron discuss Princess Grania’s new intelligence in preparation for the evening’s prolonged state dinner.
“Freeze, Flight, or Fight?” - Princesses Grania and Carena take on a squad of Lord Marinacci’s goons with a little help from the Palace Guard and some friendly Aertellans.
“Strategic Retreat” - Adon, Lorens, and Petron must flee the state dinner when Lord Marinacci’s plan proceeds with murderous intent.
“The Temple of the Sea” - Adon and Lorens’ group takes a hidden passage to the Temple of the Sea, but a clean escape is not to be.
“Epilogue” - The Margonnian delegation sails home with an extra passenger and high hopes for a peaceful future.
